Welcome to the
personal web site for the Levering family! This endeavor began as a "baby web
site," and has evolved into what you see now. It is a work in progress, so your
feedback and comments are always appreciated.
Chris
and Erin were married in Roanoke, VA, on October 6, 2001. Ellie Mae, a black
lab-pit bull mix was the first to join the family (she was adopted from the SPCA
the summer before Chris and Erin were married). Harley joined the family a year
later -- he's a border collie-great Pyrenees mix. Harley was adopted from the
Alamance County (NC) Humane Society. The family lived in Roanoke for several
years before buying a house in Boones Mill, VA, in April of 2003. After settling into their new home, Chris
and Erin found out that they were expecting their first child, due on October 9,
2004. Things don't always happen the way they're planned, and Joshua Ryan
Levering arrived 3 months early on July 19, 2004. It was a rough start (75 days
in the NICU), but everyone made it through without too many scars. Three
years later, Kayleigh Elayne Levering arrived, full-term, on July 28, 2007. The family
is now living "happily ever after" on their 7 acres nestled in the Blue Ridge
Mountains of Virginia.

Chris
